As a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work in 2004, I am proud to have attended this university more for the prestige than for the actual studying I did while attending. UofM is big on theory and research, yet small on teaching practical job-related skills. Add that to costing an arm and a leg (I will be paying off my loans for 21 years total), and to little productive interaction and career planning with my faculty advisor, have led me to be dissatisfied with my overall experience as a student at UofM.

In retrospect, I probably enrolled too quickly and should have taken some time off following undergraduate (at a different college), in which case I might have chosen to follow a different master's program altogether.

University of Michigan-Ann Arbor looks beauitful and I think the students that attend therre do well. B.Y.U. is allso a good school in Salt Lake City, I believe most students that attend do well in life. I have attended college in Toledo, Phoenix, and South Florida. Yvonne M. S....
