I bought two of these for Christmas, one for my oldest daughter and the second for the new college freshman in the family. I called it, "having a practical Christmas". Never was this more factual then three days after Christmas, my oldest called me and had broken down, she needed a jump. Since I neglected to get myself one, I asked if she had her kit. My daughter said it was out and ready and why didn't I have one myself? This was a perfect gift for my children and when my youngest grows into a car, she will be getting one as well. It is everything you need in a bag that takes up very little space, great for college kids.

The kit itself comes with a wide variety of things you may need in a emergency or breakdown. The Jumper Cables are very short and depending on your battery placement you'll probably only be able to do front to front hook up.

The quality of the items in this kit is at or just above 99 cent store quaility. Will they break on first use? Definately not, but it's not high quality either.
