Don't be fooled by the price. If you setup the machine correctly and tighten all the bolts down, you wont have any problems. You have to re-tighten a couple of the bolts after the first few workouts but this is expected with hours of riding this bike. I can honestly say that the highest setting on this bike is very difficult. Yes, I can ride on the highest setting for a few minutes but then my legs will start to burn as if I am riding up a mountain. The display is clear and easy to read. It has easy to read time, distance, calories burned, and heart rate monitor. You have to put your thumb on the display to get a reading. The heart rate monitor works ok but is not the best way for getting an accurate reading. As far as the seat, it is like a standard bike seat. Its soft if you are used to riding a bike but hard if you have not been on a bike for more than 5 years....... So got the bike put together and after 1 day of riding it for about 40 minutes the pedal comes off and I thought that was weird, so I look and the inside of the crank where the pedal screws in is completely stripped out, now the pedal will only stay in for about 3 minutes at a time, looks like I'm gonna have to weld it on.... I am pleased with it so far. Very easy assembly one person can do it. It's easy to use and easy to understand the display screen. I only gave it 4 stars because of the seat. I went and purchased this item at Kmart this afternoon and excitingly came home to put it together. Once I had it together, the pedals wouldn't even turn! No, this wasn't due to my poor building.. the main assembly is pre-built. I had to take it halfway back apart to take the main assembly apart. The resistance cable was wrapped completely around the shaft and was broken. Frustrated that it wasn't something I could fix, I took it all back apart and tossed it back in the box. Took it back to Kmart and took my chances on another one.. and wouldn't you believe it, there is a part missing!!! The resistance cable is supposed to have a small metal hook in the front shaft to connect the cable from the knob to the rest of the cable that leads to the wheel... I know this cause I just constructed it a few hours earlier! Bike works good but now I have zero use of the resistance knob.. and I refuse to take it back......
