If not careful you would easily shatter the drawer when it twist as you try to slide it back in. crisper drawers very cheap made also, even my ge side by side had much better made drawers and I hated that fridge... It's spacious enough to fit everything we need & the water dispenser is wonderful. I'd highly recommend. The only downfall I found is that our Sears does not carry the filter replacements, so we have to order them online.... I have absolutely no regrets in deciding on this appliance. I wanted an Energy Star rated refrigerator and one highly recommended by Consumer Reports. It keeps my food cold and well organized, is easy to clean and spacious. The water dispenser just at the top front is great for a quick glass of delicious cold water. The ice maker works efficiently and produces more ice that I use but easy to turn off/on, and with it I still have plenty of room for a Top Freezer model. Whirlpool produces solid appliances. What more could I ask for!... Very roomy inside, and clear storage bins help find items quickly. The hidden handle pulls within the doors deletes the need for exterior handles, allowing an even sleeker appearance. Crisper controls eliminates the iced up vegetable problem. Additional feature of a filtered water dispenser inside the refrigerator saves tons of money in bottled water purchases!... Given the limitations of a top-freezer unit, this Whirlpool is excellent with the following exceptions. The textured plastic handle soils easilly and is a little time-consuming to clean. Smooth would be better. The feezer is very spacious, but that means the refrigerator is a little smaller than it might be and that means stooping for even top shelf items. If you get a top-freezer, that comes with the territory, I guess. It is relatively noisey. When we first got it I was literally shocked at how loud it was compared to our old Kenmore/Whirlpool. I re-checked Consumer Reports and noted that the Whirlpool flavor of a refrigerator was always a little less quiet than the Kenmore flavor of the same unit. More research told me that the Kenmore flavor had a sound-deadening package (fiberglas matt, I would guess, that the Whirlpool lacked. This really ticked me off as they cost......
