Our flat top stove one burner will turn on but will turn off with out using a wrench. The microwave top vent falls off constantly. Now our refrigerator is broken....the motor to the fan does not work and there is a slow leak of coolant that is causing the freezer and regrigerator to smell like chemicals. Our food we have to through out because it has a chemical taste to it.....Whirlpool gold products are terrible, will never buy again........... Over all quality seems to be fine but we have had an issue with the fresh meat bin coming off the it's sliding track inside the refridgerator. Aside from that we've had no problems and the unit has been installed for about 2 years. We don't use the water in the door feature much, but do use the ice in the door a lot. The built in water filter is easy to access at the very bottom of the unit. We did not set out to buy THIS particular brand/model but our requirements dictated a counter top depth unit so the selections were somewhat limited. Over all we're pleased.... The appearance is very attractive; it is easy to keep clean and I love the rack inside the door for quick cooling of beverages. The ice maker is conveniently located in the door which makes it much easier to remove. I would highly recommend this appliance.... It was definitely worth the money. Once this refrigerator was in our home, it automatically upgraded the look of our kitchen. All of our friends commented on how great it looked. The freezer has pull out baskets, so it's great not only for storing lots of frozen foods, but also organizing them and being able to find what you need. The freezer door also has pull-down baskets which I've found to be another great storage feature. There is so much space in the refrigerator that I've never had a problem fitting everything into it. The only thing I don't like is that the water filter for drinking water has to be changed - I've never bothered to do this, because I'm not convinced it's worth the time, trouble, and money. For this I gave performance only 4 stars. Overall, I'd recommend this refrigerator to anyone. It was definitely worth the investment....
