shopperdab says "Will not buy another Proform" about ProForm Treadmills

We purchased the Proform Crosswalk 415 Treadmill from Sears and exactly 3 months later the crosswalk arm broke off and the tread began to stop unexpectedly while we are walking. The stopping is actually dangerous if you are going very fast. The belt also speeds up and slows down and does not maintain a consistent speed at any setting. We have also not had any success at returning it or getting it repaired because it only had a 90 day warranty and we did not purchase the extended warranty. It broke on day 92.

Sears was no help at all, they would not let us exchange or return on day 92 and told us to talk to Proform, which we did and they have tried to help with technical assistance. Now 5 months later nothing that we have tried so far has worked and we are stuck with a treadmill that does not work and we can't even sell at a garage sale.

...
