sugarbeetp says "These Men's Bates Boots Feel Great!" about Bates Men's Boots Ultra-Lites Tactical 8 Black Wide Widths Available

This is the second pair of Bates boots I've bought for my husband. He is on his feet all day every day, 7 days a week. He is very hard on footwear and it took a year to wear out the first pair. He says they are super comfortable and took no time to break in. I opted for these this time around as they have a convenient side zip. Will buy again in a heartbeat, highly recommend!
...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this food processor! Can't imagine what I did without it. I decided to up my canning and freezing game this fall. And has this food processor made a wonderful difference. Shreds things in seconds, slicing is a breeze, and pureeing is incredible. I can't say enough wonderful things about this unit. My freezer is now full with lots of harvested and processed goodies. This food processor gave me back time in my day that otherwise would have been spent hand processing. I even puree my scraps for my worm composter!
...

I bought this for my husband after buyer other drills that just didn't seem to do the trick. He was constantly complaining. I said enough is enough, I'm getting you a Craftsman C3 drill. This drill is very powerful and no more complaints from the hubby! Highly recommend. Can't beat the price for this set and it comes with a very nice bag. I just might have to get one for myself!
...

sugarbeetp says "Spacesaver Size" about Cuisinart Automatic Ice Cream Maker

This ice cream maker is the perfect size. Base unit takes up very little cupboard space and the freeze bowl takes up very little freezer space. Also, as it is only my husband and myself, I was looking for a maker that has less than 2 quarts capacity. I've had this maker for a couple of months now and use it weekly (or twice weekly when the ice cream cravings are higher!). A very stiff spatula helps get all of the ice cream off the sides. Ice cream is "soft serve" consistency when complete. The freezer bowl is really only good for one batch (takes 30-35 minutes) and then you will need to refreeze to make the next batch. The initial freeze time is 18-24 hours. Post batch refreeze time is 1-3 hours. It is recommended that you keep the freezer bowl in the freezer when not in use. Some excellent recipes aso come with this unit. This provided me with a great way to enjoy organic ice cream, free of chemicals, coloring or preservatives.
...

Really love this television. VERY easy set up (10 minutes). Very light and easy to move. Superior picture and great sound. Purchased this television for the master bedroom. Loved it so much I purchased another one for our place up north and purchased the 26" for our shop out back. ONLY negative is that the sleep timer can only be set in increments of 30 minutes. Would have preferred 15 minute increments.
...

sugarbeetp says "What a great bread maker!" about Kenmore Bread Maker with LCD Display

I've had this bread maker for about a month now and I really love it! For under $100 the quality is fantastic. Clean up is a snap. Love the alarm that tells you when to take the paddle out. There is also a pre-rise alarm that allows you to add last minute ingredients if you so desire.

If you are a big baking experimenter and like to customize your own baking programs this would not be the model for you as the only customizing on the programs is the loaf size and crust color, and delayed start. There are however, 14 pre-set programs to choose from, which I have found covers all of the recipes I've tried so far (about 6 different recipes/types of bread)

Only negative is that a lighted display would be nice.
...

sugarbeetp says "Very Happy!" about Kenmore 350 Series Water Softener

We replaced an ancient monster of a water softener with this Kenmore 350. We are VERY happy. Trips to the store to get salt have been GREATLY reduced. The auto-regen is working fine so far. With only 2 adults and 0 children and at a 25 grain setting we have only gone through about 40 lbs of salt in the 3 months we've had it. It regens once every 7-10 days. The major flush of the resin bed at the end of the cycle is so much better than our old softener. It removes most if not all of the salt off of the resin, leaving the water soft but not salty tasting.

Only one small negative, not with the softener itself, is that the plastic fitting of the quick-install kit that is sold separately for this model (at a very high $70) broke in two. We opted to purchase instead a mixture of copper, PVC and flex hose fittings and compression fittings and made our own kit at about half the cost. Which is a good do-it yourself option rather than pay for installation. I recommend making/buying a kit rather...
...

My husband LOVES these boots. He is on his feet all day in his shop. We have always had a hard time finding him comfortable boots for a reasonable price. Inner soles on all previous boots we've purchased have broken down rather quickly. Making the boot uncomfortable and headed for the trash. Our search however, has ended! These boots have the comfort of an athletic shoe with the stability and durability of a work boot. Only drawback is we wish the color were darker as they did get dirty quickly. We will not hesitate to buy these boots again, if they wear out!
...

sugarbeetp says "Still in Love almost a year later!" about Samsung 29.0 cu. ft. French-Door Refrigerator w/ Premium External Water & Ice Dispenser (RFG297AA)

Absolutely LOVE this fridge! Bought in Dec 2008, and I still love it. I have had ZERO issues/repairs. It's beautifully quiet. It makes plenty of ice. Ice and water taste great (and I've got REALLY hard water). I'm trying hard to think of a con and I just can't! If you are on the fence about getting this HUGE 29 cf fridge vs. a 23-25 cf fridge - the extra space is well worth the upgrade. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is to have plenty of space, a place for everything and everything in it's place. Even my husband keeps things organized and puts things back where they belong - because it's SO easy to organize it all. See my pics. BEFORE is my old fridge (you can't see in the pic but the drawers are FULL) and AFTER is the Samsung 29cu ft. And still looks this organized.
...

sugarbeetp says "Excellent Choice" about Kenmore 25914 / 25915 Progressive Bagged Canister Vacuum

I switched to this vacuum after owning a Dyson Canister vac. I'm sooo glad I did. This is an excellent vacuum. As of this review (05.23.08) I've owned it for approximately 4 months.

I haven't had any problems whatsoever. The Dyson I had was of course bagless, so going back to a bagged vac concerned me a bit, but suprisingly the bag is very large and I can fill it with about twice as much as what the Dyson would hold. I have 4 dogs, all very large or giant (one is a Great Dane) and a messy parrot. So there is a lot of dog hair and tossed seed that needs to be vacuumed up. The Dyson when using the power carpet attchment on the bare floor would spit the seed/loose dirt back towards my feet. I have all bare floors and several rugs, so I don't like having to turn on/turn off the power head, I'd rather just keep it on. The Kenmore does not spit anything back at my feet, sucks it all up just great!

One thing I do miss on the Dyson, that the Kenmore does not have is the extremely nice swivel and...
...
