sunnydaysforme says "Good for handling of car - long life also" about BFGoodrich TRACTION T/A Tire - P195/70R14 90T BSW

I bought these 2 years ago, and have driven them about 65,000 miles and they are still going strong. According to **************** this tire is very good for steering and handling. I made a mistake and took a turn 90 degree turn going 60 miles an hour while trying to fit in between two construction cones at an exit off the interstate. Not a good idea. I survived, and other than the grace of God, I put a lot of stock in these tires. After fishtailing back and forth for what seemed like about 20 minutes, but I'm sure probably was about 5 or less minutes, the car went backwards right between the cones I was trying to turn in through (probably a little further down the road, though). And I was able to make it through my exit and catch my bus, just like I intended. I will never do that again, though.

Tires worked real well when I was late for an appointment with my daughter - had to do a controlled slide through a pink light to be able to make it on time. No problem at all with all the practice...
...
