My husband and I tend to have chronic backaches, which we contributed to our very old mattress. The Sears saleswoman recommended a firm mattress as I am a stomach sleeper. About a week after our mattress was delivered, we began waking up with absolutely no soreness or back pain. I am very glad that I purchased my Sealy Posturepedic mattress. One bit of advice about the mattress for other consumers: This mattress seems to retain quite a bit of body heat which may make some people uncomfortable.
