“Sears Warranty service is worthless”
My Central air conditioner's Heat/Cool thermostat stopped working properly during the recent cold snap. I can not get the temperature to regulate at all. I have had a warranty on this system since 1990. When I called for emergency service to get my thermostat replaced which is covered under the warranty I was told I would have to wait for 6 days before a tech could get to my location. When I spoke with the manager on call who went by the name of Thomas he told me he could not get anyone from the HVAC emergency call on the phone. Then told me I would have to call back tomorrow. All the while I heard people laughing in the background. I will never purchase another item or warranty from sears for as long as I live.
