Locked18 volt drill charger

Why is it every single drill manufacturer make a different charger to it's 18 volt line Just so the can be the only ones to sell you a missing or broken charger?

Where can I buy a generic charger for my 18 volt craftsman cordless drill?

If your battery looks like the current batteries, there is a charger available at all Sears stores and sears.com for that battery.

Blu, thank you for focusing on the problem and the not fringe issue. However, because to be interactive, javacrript or CFM must make some assumptions about the browser asking the question. When my may, using Safari, asks these questions, the response boxes are too narrow to get a readable answer.  thanks., again

The drill's model number can be looked up on Sears Parts Direct and the most current model/part number battery will be listed for that drill.

The fringe issue? You want a charger. I told you there is a charger on sears.com, depending on your battery. You claim I'm being obtuse. You know, if you came here to just be obnoxious, you've succeeded and can move on. If you want actual information, ask specific questions that will yield the specific answers you want, and cut out the condescending nonsense, because in the space of 8 posts, you've officially earned yourself a spot on the list. Congrats.

Crossed wires here.

Which reminds me; Never assume the neutral wire is neutral.

But, assuming a hot wire is hot, is OK.
