LockedBlack Friday Sales?

Hi,

I'm going to be buying a new washer and dryer shortly, just wondering how much do you expect the sales to be on the Kenmore and Whirlpool lines?  Right now they are 20% off.  Would Black Friday be more like 40% off?

There are a few washer/dryer sets that will be discounted very heavily. Of course, we can't say which they are, but there are probably ways to find out. Do be aware, however, that Black Friday doorbuster sales are for a limited time that day, are not subject to price matching, and have limited quantities (no back-ordering like we did last year). If you're planning on taking advantage of those deals, please be there when the store opens.

If you want the machines sooner, and still want a really good deal, sign up for Sears e-mail notifications, and you'll get notified of our next Family & Friends event, which is coming up very soon.

Yes because we were still filling the orders from last year's Black Friday deals well into June for some customers. OMG it was tough!

What many people have to realize with our ordering system is the competition for the product. Many times you think you're just trying to "beat out" the customer in line ahead of you but that isn't the case. We have centrallized "warehouses" that are set up in geographic areas and service all of the SHC brands (Sears Hardware, Essentials, Hometown, Great Indoors, myGopher, Kmart, and Sears) in that area. So as a customer you are competing against those you see and those you don't for a very limited quantity product.

Take the advice and get there early to take advantage of these great deals!

Be aware of all the "exclusions"  oror, &  or...you will not get a discount ontop of another discount during this special sales day- similiar to the friends and family sales promotions, you cant get all the discounts at one time- so just be aware what you can or cannot get in way of cost, Sears card purchase, etc, etc.

Perhaps do some research prior to what your local store stocks then choose one or two models, washer/dryer pair deals will most likely be on sale, but watch the "mix & match" with Kenmore series, ensure sure washer and dryer are mates, not washer  from one model series and dryer, the other series.

U make the decision. I suggest visit store early ( find out when open, the doors as qty's are limited per store  & each has a qty limitation available to them. as aforementioned.

I yah snoop around day before Thanksgiving at your local store, you probably will find out whats going to be on super sale agenda.  Good hunting.

Sears is also offering Black Friday Now! this year which means doorbuster prices every Saturday morning (not just the day after Thanksgiving). You can see a few of this week's deals here: http://ow.ly/zS5s. You can also visit this page each week for a sneak peek of that week's deals.

Thanks for all the replies everyone, very helpful!  Especially about the every Saturday Black Friday Early Deals, that's awesome, we'll definitely check things out before the real Black Friday.

Great! Glad to hear we could help. Keep us posted on what you find (and be sure and review it to help out other customers find what they're looking for!).

I hope the no back-ordering, excludes the ability to HFM from nearby warehouses.

Otherwise, it's going to be a really short individual item sale.
