LockedBlue Crew!

posted on September 21, 2009 at 01:58PM Inappropriate?

I saw the commercials for Blue Crew electronics recently (they look great) but it got me wondering what how Sears associates get to be members of Blue Crew. Is it for all electronics associates or do they need special training? And is it only for home appliances and home electronics or is it for any other groups?

Anybody in Blue Crew got any answers?

its for all hard lines in our store, or it will be eventuially. i didnt have any special training but i had to sit through a movie on it at 7am. that was pretty rough but its mostly the blue crew promos that we get. thats what i got out of it. and these sweet blue shirts.

I work in the Sears store in OakBrook, Il. our whole hard lines is Blue Crue including Electronics. They just included the vacuum dept because we are right next to all of the depts tucked in a very small corner.

The Tool Department shirts have pretty much turned blue - purchased by individual associates.

We have all-shades of blue shirts on the floor, with collars.

I agree AdamO - those new commercials are pretty good - Did you see your favorite guy (The tool guy commercial) who has a tool for everything?  Pretty nifty.
