LockedCRAFTSMAN REWARDS

posted on July 29, 2009 at 09:40AM Inappropriate?

I received my Aug. issue for the Craftsman Club.  Rewards?  That is great!!!!!  However, is the website www.craftsmanrewards.com not ready for people to sign up yet?  It says I can call but would rather go through the website.  I have my card in hand and ready to use it!!!  I am very excited.  Do the rewards print right off of the register tape, or do they mail them?  I guess I would like a little more info, I did not see any posts on this yet.  I am very excited!!!

It says you can start entering for rewards when the next Club event starts (8/2).

how can you collect points if you cant upgrade your card like it  says in the flyer

It says coming soon, so I assume the program is not yet fully operational. I'd wait until it was more officially released - or just call craftsman directly to find out.

Hi everyone - sorry for the delay here. Wanted to let you know that the promotion starts online and by phone on August 6. The information you've received is to let you know in advance that Craftsman Club Rewards are coming and to build excitement! Glad it did that! Sorry for any confusion.

jeeper - You'll have to let us know your thoughts!

I am all for it, and very excited.  I love purchasing and using my Craftsman Tools, this is just the incentive to blow out the budget every once in awhile!!!!!

Here's a hint of things to come:

The rewards are collected from the Craftsman Club by EMAIL.

Give up them eMail ID's.

The "mail" will not be being used to deliver your rewards.

And, if you buy a thousand dollars worth of Craftsman stuff, you wont get a Craftsman belt-buckle.

I learned that in the Craftsman Club Training course "test".

:)

Maybe, we could "buy" a Craftsman belt buckle?

I just called craftsman club 800-682-8691 and the program does not start until August 6th, and you cant preregister. The only requirement to sign up is to be a club member and provide an email address which is how you recieve your coupon. Sears shoulds have noted the starting date better to lessen the confusion but Sears is still the greatest source for tools, and I can wait until the 6th.

You mean the 32 dollars I spent on that Craftsman stool clearance stuff doesn't COUNT!

:)

I'm josh'n you. Have never been "rewarded" for buying tools.

I just love getting them.

I can hardly wait for this Halloween's tools!

The Dead-On tools, of course.

Skull and Cross Bones logo - cool.

I've already got a lot of their stuff.

Maybe that awesome looking hammer/prybar.

Look like a GREAT Vampire hunting tool.

Every-time I buy buy myself a tool, that is my reward!!!!  If I am having a bad day, the wife tells me to go spend some money at Sears, usually perks my day right up!!!!

sounds like you people must have received your craftsman club cards or you would not be so eager to spend money at sears. some of us are still waiting! probably waiting for nothing is what i think. still not satisfied!

To have print material before the wedsite is ready is an example of an old, stoggy company struggling with todays fast paced world of business. Get with it!! Love Craftsman tools, but have extremely low expectations of Sears. Will be surprised if they are even around in a few years........drop the OLD ways, pick up the pace.....set the pace!!  You are still living in the past when you were the premier catalog store........who uses a catalog anymore!!!!!????????? I am ready to sign up for club rewards, but it likely isn't going to happen because you are not ready. Still like Craftsman products.......

In response to taft59's post from August 04 2009 09:05PM

Taft59 - How long has it been since you signed up?  I can help in tracking down what the problem might be and if not I can see about making sure we get you a new one ASAP.

That sounds about right, 6-8 weeks.  You can use your phone number until then.  I had to order a replacement card and it took about 10 weeks.  I would not miss saving any money over it.  I know it can be frustrating.  All good things come to those who are patient.

Actually, I signed up for craftsman club in may, I got my registration number, but I still haven't gotten my card either... should I just call them/

to juliek and ryanostrom, thanks i sure hope that between the two of you i will be able to get my craftsman club card. so far since this spring i have purchased from sears in macomb il, a weedeater, tool box top and bottom, and enough tools to fill the tool box except for two drawers. i was disapointed to learn that if i had my card i could have gotten the middle box for free. i know they got my membership information because they keep sending me e-mails and even received the one for august savings. but i have stopped going to sears until this is taken care of. hope to receive card soon. thanks and good luck!

I called earlier this week and today.  The site hasn't been ready, & still isn't up.  They cannot do the registration by phone, even though the flyer I picked up in the store says they can.  It's really a shame Sears is so poorly run.  They've outsourced the phone center and they cannot answer any questions; they read me scripted material that makes no sense from the questions I ask.  How disappointing.

Hi divahandywoman-Did you call the Craftsman Club hotline to try to register for a card? Here is that number: 1-800-682-8691. You should be able to sign up on the phone.

Which site are you referring to that is not up?  The Craftsman site is up and running.  Here is the link: www.craftsman.com.

taft59, and briank-You should be able to use the confirmation number you received when you signed up to get your discounts.  Have either of you tried to do this, and were unable to?

They'll look up your Club Membership number, using your telephone number.
