I am a currenlty out of work, just discharged from the Army 10 year vet, single mother of two military brats (their father is still active duty, as well) and engaged to another soldier!! I just moved to the area after getting my discharge so that my kids can see their father more than once a year when he is not deployed, and my fiance happens to be stationed here as well.

Hi - Wow 10 years...THANK YOU! Good luck with your new adventures. I lived in Hinesville for many years, father got out of the service after 28 years and Ft. Stewart was his last station. Brings back memories. My daughter met her husband in Ludowici so I guess it is a small world after all. Congratulations on your engagement. Seems like you have a whole new life to look forward to.

Wow. My son in law is stationed in Fort Stewart. We are going to see them come christmas.  They like being there and feel very welcome to that community. It makes me feel better, as a mom, to know she likes it there. They plan on staying in that area forever.
