How can I have my children featured in a Sears or Kmart AD as clothing models?

Know this is an idea. I know Wal-mart used to put their employees and families in their ads and make a point of it in the ad. I think that this is a neat idea, having actual employees and their families wear the clothing that they sell. It also portrays confidence in the brands as affordable and fashionable and that you don't need to have a models body to wear them.

Having our children or Grandchildren in the Sears ads would be a very positive thing. When Wal Mart was doing that I know I paid more attention to the wal mart ads back then. Now days they just the trash bin.

No. I'd like them to just do something simple. It would be a great experience for them, as well as, give them a confident feeling about their ability to do anything. They are already into sports, i just want them to reach out in various directions and find their niche.

I am sure there is an added expense in having ones associates or family in ads. In todays time this is a NO NO.
I use to be a softlines and a hardlines buyer and we received samples into the office which we sent out to the studio. The models would then wear the clothes. Some of the clothes would be to big for the models and it showed to the trained eye. Just think of the nigthmare that would be created trying to get the right sizes for the foks to wear. One also has to look at the cost of getting the models/associates to the studios to do the shoots with the hardline goods etc. We use to ship our samples or have the vendors ship them to the studio for the shoot. A lot of the time we would do pickups of a previous shot in an ad to put back into another ad to save expenses or insert a vendors picture.
Just some food for thought.
