Hey everyone - My husband and I just joined the KidVantage Club, but I am still not 100% sure about ALL of the benefits.  We haven't had to replace any clothes, because my daughter is only 10 mos.  Has anyone ever used the club?  was it worth it? easy?

Hi Kelly - I haven't ever had to return clothes yet, but the program is free and you get 15% off, so there is really no drawback.  The only trick is that you have to remember the phone number for your account, because that is how they look you up.

I am a Sears employee, but that doesn't prevent me from liking to save money!

It is a pretty amazing program.  Here is a little more information from Sears.com on KidVantage:

And, a blog right from this site on the subject:

So you save money on your kids clothing purchases at Sears? I have to sign up Josephine. See her wearing Small Wonder from KMart, on my profile photos.

My son uses it more than my daughter...I think boys are just tougher on their clothes. I've replaced 2 pairs of jeans so far and I need to go exchange another pair this week :)

I've been using kidadvantage for a long time and today when I went in the store the cashier said I didn't have an account and I KNOW I was giving her my correct phone number!  I just bought some items last week with and my kidadvantage account came up so be careful with it.  Now I'm wondering about all my points!

It is free to join and it is a good program knowing that the company stands behind their products plus you get to save extra money!  I have been a member for over 5 years!

this is the best programm ever !!! i don't have small kids anymore but i do engourage all the mommy's and daddy's who have kids to join . is free and it only requires your phone number .. just about all kids and young teens ( boys size up to 18/20 and girls size up to 16 ) clothing is under the kidvantage wear and tear policy even kids shoes and socks !!! however we do engourage you to save the receipt for lee's and levis clothes since this is a national brand and it can be bought everywhere , we just have to make sure that you purchased it in a sears store !!!

when you sign up make sure you give a current phone number so you can start saving !!! and always use that same phone number !!!

when buying kids clothes make sure that the cashier knows that you are a member of the kidvantage club ( yes some cashiers do not asked , they just go thru there promps without asking anything assuming that you are not a member , lack of costumer service i think ! )

oh before i forget , you have to exchange it for the same size and style ( if style or brand is out of stock something similar in the same size will be provided , depends on the item ! i think that will cover it .. have a good day everyone !!!

your friendly sears cashier !!!!

I just got back from returning clothes again today.  The quaility of the clothes wasn't inferior in the least. It's just that I have two boys under the age of four who can wear through reinforced knees in a couple of months. This is now the third or fourth time I've returned items.  It's completely hassle free. I didn't even need to have my receipts. This program is awesome! Since enrolling, I've shopped at Sears exclusively for my boys and more often than I ever thought I would for myself. Oh, I don't work for Sears, I'm just a happy, happy customer.

I love KidVantage. I just took in 2 pair of jeans my boys had gotten holes in. They replaced them no problems.  I din't even need a receipt because they are the Sears brands. I have done this in the past as well.  I will only buy my boys jeans at Sears from now on! This school year I bought them some jeans from another store. ALL of them have holes in the knees--including the ones from Sears--but Sears is the only place I can get them replaced for FREE.  Love It!

First, it's free - so there's nothing to loose.

Second, you get 15% off your kid's clothes!

I used it all of the time when shopping for my boys. An extra 15% off helps. So easy to set-up and because of the quality of the merchandise, I haven't had to return any.

I have been a member of KidVantage club through my daughter, now my grandchildren. I find Sears items to be of consistant quality and always enjoy the extra savings the club provides.  I especially like that fact that points are tracked for me so I don't have to remember what/when, etc.  I just got a coupon which I wasn't even expecting when making a purchars for my grand daughter...also the fact that there is no fee involved is 'refreshing'.  Keep up the good work Sears!  Been using this for years...every little bit of savings helps.
