Hi, people!!!This is valueseeker, from Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico - maybe the first from PR to join the community. Haven't check all the comments, but based on the ones I checked, looks that there are common "opportunities" on many of them. At least here, the impression I get from the rest rooms are below average (by far), same way the non-service oriented attention from the employees. Sometimes I feel they believe are doing me a favor when I request something from then. By the way, I prefer to know the inventory, and where is place, than look for assistance for employees that are really scarce. Customer service orientation and training will help a lot  and  basic hygene in the rest rooms,

I join your opinion. Management needs to train their staff to become more of a customer people.

Restrooms do need improvement. Yet it is not the staff faults. The people that use seem not to realize that someone else is going to use the restroom.

I was just in Puerto Rico for the first time - it is really beautiful! I hope to get back soon. Question - beyond service (which from the comments we clearly need to address), is there anything else that Kmart/Sears should be doing? Are there products or services that are missing, how do we compare against other stores? What would make your shopping experience better?

We try to train our staff as best we can in order to provide you with a great shopping experience.  And as far as the restrooms go, some kmarts have no control over them; they are independently owned and operated by another company.
