ok today was Seniors Day at Sears, I saw no promotions, nothing on website, nothing in the stores, no paper flyers but only at the register does someone mention Senior Day discount and have to scan a bar code and get your I.D. to rove your 60 years of age.
Frankly most employees are tentative asking a person if they are a senior when they may "not look" the age. If I am missing something here let me know or the store that I go to may not be posting this info but since a good feriend works at a Sears store he tells me when he finds out that is only way I know so if that is promoting this single day event it need a lot of work from your side.
Think about it, its the "older generation" and their folks earlier that instilled the Kenmore brand name into their siblings, that is reason why the kids come to Sears to shop in most cases, so why not honor that loyalty and promote it more than from what I have seen the past year, please consider revamping this or do away with it all together, as the message is not gettng through as you both might think.
The 10% off regular price items ( no appliances or electronics) but a 5% discount for the day in electronics as I understood today.
Surely SHC can do a much better job at promoting this one day event that appears to happen a few times times a year
