Spring is right around the corner... I'm excited! It's been pretty bitterly cold around here and I am more than looking forward to warmer weather. What will be the first thing you will do when it warms up?! I would like to go running outside!

The first thing I want to do is just sit and relax in the warm sun. Sounds like heaven. Then I will turn on my water fountains and water falls and just listen to it.

Winter, with Fire Season coming

Heh, I love... Springtime (except for my allergies).

However:

Last year, the California wildfires came within two miles of burning down my little cabin in the woods.

Let's talk about time to get rid of "fire-load".

If you don't got'm, time to get weed wackers, brush wackers, high-wheel trimmers and chainsaws!

The ground is still moist from all the rain. No machine's "spark" is going to set off a fire this time of year.

Let's clear ALL that soon to be dry as a bone stuff off of our property and haul it out of the yard.

A Craftsman tractor and steel trailer will work wonders helping haul all that stuff to the truck or pile to be picked up.

If you've got Lawn and Garden equipment already, make sure it all is working, tune-up or replace what's not, and get that extra line and blades, while everything is in stock at the stores.

Don't forget to wear your Craftsman workwear, while a cut'n, clear'n and haul'n.

:)

What color combinations are you planting (flowers) this year?

Anyone planting vegetables?! We usually plant tomatoes, peppers and herbs since we scaled down the size of our garden. It used to be so big that we'd plant peas, eggplant, zucchini, onions, mulitple varieties of tomatoes, broccoli and more. WAY TOO MUCH WORK! But I love the Farmer's Market, too!
