Feel free to comment on our new community. The goal is to have our members shape its direction going forward. So, let us know what you think - what you like, what you don't like, what you would like to add.

Great site.  Any plans to introduce sk-you shortcuts on the Blackberry or maybe Facebook links so members can have updates and info on the go?

Thanks for the note. Yes we are looking to include links to/from other networks. You can share reviews on FaceBook et al now through a widget that is on the sample blog post (though we have a few things to work out technically before you can view the widget loader).

We also will be including direct links back to Sears, Kmart so that members can click to get an offer if they want to buy or receive special offers.

A few other items that are planned or will launch shortly include groups (so you can start your own interest networks), tabbed discussion boards (so that members can post Q&A by topic or category), an events center (the Town Square will be host to special presentations, shows and demos, e.g. home appliance fair, home theater demostration etc...), and a totally customizable user profile/home page (so that members can create a more personal experience). To your question, we are also looking at mobile opportunities and will update everyone soon on this.

I'd like to see links from the review area to the Kmart & Sears online shopping websites so that people could purchase a product if they were persuaded by the positive review(s) they read here.

So noted. Actually there now is a link in the upper right column of each review that takes people to Sears. We are planning a Kmart link also, but we want to have them connect directly to the category rather than home page. That will be in the next version. You also can check prices from other stores on the price tab right now. The plan is to link our catalog directly so that people can compare and check availability. Why would we do this?! Well, we know people have choices, and they are going to do their homework in any case. The hope is providing this service will ultimately help us improve if we can better understand what items and offers are most attractive to our customers.

I think there should be a place for "how to find items that these stores carry" when they are not on the shelves or waiting for shipment.

I'd love to see a reward program set up for surveys and reviews completed. I've been part of other communities that give gift cards to the retailer that they support in thanks for my efforts and time spent on their boards.  I thoroughly enjoy being part of communities such as this, but I (like most others!) like to be recognized for the thought and time and effort I put in to endeavors such as this.

Another idea is a points system, where surveys are weighted for a set number of points, reviews for another value, and so on. We can then use those points to "purchase" rewards on a special "participant appreciation" page. My husband's employer uses a similar system and they've got some sweet rewards like iPods, weight sets, gift cards to restaurants and movie theaters, and so on. There's even watches, jewelry and trips!

It would be good to have whatever is in the online catalog be included in the reviewable items list.

Rewards. I would love to earn rewards to featured stores. Or test out new products.

I would like  to earn  rewards from  Sears or Kmart, and try out products and give my feedback on them.

I agree that incentives help with keeping up on feedback from the consumers. Plus, instead of offering a $2,500 gift card for responding to an experience in the store, break the amount up and have more consumers win. It is great to win a big amount, but if more can win at the same time, more consumers will offer feedback.

Hi Dave, great idea! Did you know that you can review any product here whether it's a Sears, Kmart, Land's End, The Great Indoors or from any other retailer? Yes it's true! I think we should share reviews of all the products we like regardless of where they're from.

Wow, that's pretty cool about the price checking, that's a very nice feature, especially with today's gas prices.  Nice to know who's got the prices that will bring me to a store.  Now, the biggest thing will be that you HAVE the items described (for KMart .. Sears is usually good about having items in stock).

the clothes at k-mart seem either to be geared toward teens or older (much older) women...i am 33, and not either elderly or a teen.  i would like to see a design idea section in this site...a "what would you wear?" survey with pics and yes/no bubbles...it's hard to find clothes for my age group that are appropriate (don't show too much OR... look like grannies' curtains!)

It would be fun to vote on clothes we like or don't like. We offer a variety of styles on www.sears.com, www.kmart.com, www.landsend.com so in the meantime, you should definitely check these sites regularly for new designs and ideas. Thanks for the fun suggestion!

It would be great to have a way to comment on individual pictures. :)

I would like a way to further sort the "Way to find Friends and Fans"

It would be nice to be able to further sort the "Lives in Your State" so that you have it organized.  Right now it's just random, then you can "view more", but because it's random, you end up with some of the same people.  It would be easier to have it listed in pages and have it sortable by different options: for instance by oldest join date, newest memebers (an easy way to welcome new members by-the-way), alphabetically by user name, alphabetically by city.

Also, it would be nice to have the option of searching other specific states.  Some people have lived in more than one state in their life time and may have connections to that part of their lives and would be fun to search others in a specific state.

Well anyway, that's just my 3 cents, LOL. ;-)

Hi Vixen - thanks for your feedback! We're in the process of adding new features so I'll be sure to bring this up. I can't guarantee that we'll be able to add this sort feature right away, but we'll look into it. Thanks!
