I like how there is a credit card forum , but everyone always redirects people to citibank, I dont get it whats the point of having the forum? Shouldnt they just lock the forum and make a sticky saying "please call citibank to complain thank you for choosing sears"

just my 10 cents

It would certainly make everyone's lives simpler, but posters most likely wouldn't pay any attention and would just post elsewhere on the site.

One of the many goals of this site is to allow Sears customers a place where they can let Sears know of things they like, and don't like about the store, service, or online shopping experience.

All member's posts are helpful and informative.  It is a great place for Sears to learn about their customers, while also, a great place for people to gather and discuss Sears or topics related to Sears and it's products.

Well I think Sears would like to know what citi is doing, they have their name attached to the credit cards too so if citibank really is doing a bad job think their company should know too.

I don't think Citibank has a site like this one, for Customers to provide "feedback".

I called citibank today to check my balance and I waited over 2h ours on the phone after they girl locked out my account. I got transfered to 12 different people and gave out my Social security number 3 times

But they're better actually paying for a dryer I'm going to suck the life out of and return

Sears lesson learned... watch the register and your statement.  A recent purchase of mine had a promo of no payments and no interest until 04/01/2010 if you used your Sears card.   The cash register showed promo was until 02/01/2010 and the sales person could not change date on register, but was I assured it would be corrected by the back office.  First credit card statement I received after the purchase indicated 02/01/2010.  It was fixed by calling Sears Premier Card  but you need to "watch" careless companies.

Well, I don't now how many total points the forum has, but I've got 72,766 points and am ranked #1.

Why do you want to know about Forum points?

You'd think the new Credit forum posters might READ some of the old posts, to figure out that Citibank deal.

But, that would be much like someone reading the owners manual to something they've paid hundred or thousands of dollars to own - not done often enough...
